I like more things than I dislike, and I work hard to improve myself. I do have a university education in writing, but it would be foolish to claim skill or intelligence by default based off of that; I am skilled and intelligent, though. I’d rather let the work speak for itself if it really is good. If it’s not for you, fair enough, I’m doing what I can.

If you want my story, I can tell you I’ve been doing this since I was a child growing in the American Midwest, with missing teeth and a whole cast of imaginary characters, playing with Legos on the floor with my brother and telling the same long story over time. When I grew up, I took all those characters, tweaked names, rewrote history, and added the emotional context of an adult. The soul of what this story is has been alive far longer than anything you’ll find on this site. And as such, it is worth knowing if you plan on returning: I know this story beginning to end already. You won’t need to worry that I don’t know where I’m going with all this, I do know, promise.

I write out of order because I hate forcing the process, the writing always suffers for it. I noticed that I don’t really suffer writer’s block when I’m writing the thing I’m excited about writing. The writing is better if I’m always passionate about it. Besides, I like the idea of someone watching the pieces fall together.
